A lot of people ask where the name came from. In French, Nouvelle means "new." I loved the idea of stepping into a new era- a new you, navigating life with a fresh perspective (and a really cozy uniform). But if I'm being completely honest, the real inspiration came from my French boyfriend, who helped me find the perfect word to capture that exact feeling.

I started this brand because I wanted to create a curated wardrobe that speaks to the reality of our day-to-day grind. I'm talking about the real student life, the late-night study sessions, the endless group projects, and the collective hustle of trying to figure life out while fuelled entirely by caffeine.
